v1.3.3
After you finish recording, should the connection stay up or close? Now it's your call.
Soniox settings gained a "Keepalive Connection" option. When enabled, Voilà keeps the WebSocket connection open after you finish recording — for 1 / 5 / 10 minutes, your choice — so pressing the hotkey again within that window skips the roughly 500ms handshake. If you'd rather not have any idle connection time on your bill, set it to "Off" and the connection closes immediately after each use, with no idle connections left hanging around.
"Pre-warm microphone" is now on by default — you can start talking the instant you press the hotkey the first time, without waiting for the microphone to wake from sleep. If you care more about privacy and don't want Voilà holding the microphone at all times, you can still turn it off in settings whenever you like.
Also, if you happen to be granting Accessibility permission while recording, Voilà no longer auto-restarts mid-sentence to apply it — the restart is deferred and happens silently the next time you're idle.
ElevenLabs now actively feeds the words in your vocabulary list to the recognition model as keyterms, giving steadier recognition for names, product names, and technical abbreviations. A batch of internal warnings were also cleaned up and several deprecated APIs migrated, laying the groundwork for upcoming releases.
